Carrie’s Mission
To improve people’s lives by connecting research, practice and systems change with the experiences and knowledge of the people they are intended to serve.
My work brings together research-based knowledge, lived experience and professional expertise — from supporting individual wellbeing and connection, to training and supporting professionals, strengthening organisational practice, and undertaking research that can influence policy and systems.
Each part informs the next: people’s experiences shape the questions I ask; research builds knowledge; knowledge strengthens practice; and better practice and policy can create better conditions for people.
